See and hear the difference
Sometimes trust comes through better when you can see the person behind the work. This short video gives a feel for Patrick’s approach and philosophy.
What people value most
Across different conversations and different life stages, the feedback is remarkably consistent.
- Things feel calmer, clearer, and less overwhelming
- Complex decisions become easier to think through
- People feel listened to, not sold to
- There is a stronger sense of direction and momentum
- The conversation feels personal, practical, and grounded
Thank you for all your help over the last 12 years; this has made a huge improvement in our finances which I had neglected for too many years prior to contacting you
A very belated note thanking you for all your support, which has gone far beyond financial! It has been a complicated few years with so many moves and decisions to make, and we’ve been enormously lucky to rely on your guidance
We are so grateful that we found you to support our financial planning all those years ago...you have enabled our dream of retiring early to come true. Quite a special legacy you leave...with us and, I am sure, many other clients. As much about life, as finances.
I have very much valued (and enjoyed) our conversations over the years and your good advice has helped to build up a sizeable nest-egg for me. But more than anything I wish you the very, very best for your NEXT CHAPTER!
We were very fortunate to find you and to have your wonderful advice and guidance so that we are now in the position we are for our retirement. His approach is practical, thoughtful, and tailored to my goals.
Since our first meeting nearly three decades ago, your warmth, professionalism and expert advice has been such a comfort knowing our investments and financial futures received the best care. Thank you again for the time and fantastic caring attention you have given over the years to myself and the rest of my family.
I meant every word that I wrote in the thank you card which I gave to you at our last meeting and I hope that it conveyed the immense gratitude that I felt and will always feel for the help and guidance that you have given to me. I am moved that in your email you express your gratitude for the trust and loyalty that we clients have shown you and how much the relationships have meant to you. It is a testament to all that you have expressed there, that I would, if at all possible, please, prefer not to lose contact with you. The trust and relationships were built by your personal qualities and by your conscientious, sincere and personal approach, elevating the relationship beyond financial advisor, towards trusting and respectful friendship, and I would very much hope not to lose contact with a friend who has so much wisdom, expertise and knowledge of so many aspects of life.
You made the world of finance accessible to someone who was always more concerned with music & a party, you kind of made me realise that you can do both.
I would like to thank you for the full support you have given me over the years. Not only have I learnt about how my pension has worked for me, I have also learnt what a kind, genuine and caring person you are as a professional and as well as a friend. A privilege for me to have known you.
It has been a pleasure working with you, always prepared to listen but with a professional and technical depth that I do not see very often - Gary T. • Thanks so much for all your guidance over the years, Patrick - right back to when you helped James' family with financial planning after my father-in-law died in 1996. I never had any doubt that you had my best interests at heart, and have been most grateful to have you there in the background.
When we first met, many moons ago, I knew that you were the right person to look after our investments and it has proved so.
It’s been a pleasure working with you over the years. I remember the day both you and Mark persuaded me to join your fledgling financial wealth management organisation it was your professionalism and reassuring manner that won the day so our journey began from that day forward you have looked after my financial affairs as if they were your own and I sincerely thank you for that.
I wish you all the best. Your friendship and professionalism has been amazing and I wish you all the best for the future.
And thank you once again for all your help and advice over the previous 33 years following our meeting on the Bank of Ireland project where you were my client. We feel lucky to have found you. The challenging technical aspects of your role are clearly evident but the relationship / interpersonal aspects are crucial and perhaps often overlooked. As you say, we’ve ‘come a long, long way together…’ (sorry couldn’t resist it!), and being comfortable painting the full picture with all the detail has been an important part of that, as has been your openness to us.
Amanda and I have really enjoyed having you as our advisor and in a short space of time you have helped us put our financial affairs on a firm footing and given us confidence - me to build my own business and Amanda to know that we will not starve in the process! Much of what we now have in place simply would not have happened without you.
Thank you so much for all of your help on everything. You’ve been so patient with us which we’ve really appreciated.
We have greatly appreciated your sound advice and friendly, supportive approach to all things financial for so many years. We knew we could always trust your advice and it greatly added to our sense of security throughout. We will miss our meetings with you and our wide-ranging updates on life in general. It's been great.
Thank you for all you have done for me over the past 30 years. It was wonderful to have been able to entrust my finances to someone I could rely on totally. You made me feel at all times that you had my interests at heart and all your recommendations were spot on! I shall miss our annual meetings.
